“Angry Birds” – The most popular game around the world who has broken all the records in the field of Mobile Gaming and being awarded with a number of awards such as “Best Game App”, “App of the year in 2011”, and “Best Game for Handheld Devices”. All these awards are given in renowned events held at different places at regular intervals since when the game has been launched in the market.
So whose behind Angry Birds? Well, inspired from a sketch of wingless birds Angry Birds was developed by Finnish computer game developer Rovio Entertainment.
Wingless birds, pigs on the playing field, and a sling shot, this is what angry birds is all about. The game was first released in the market only for the Apple’s iOS. But the amazingly gaining popularity and the interest for playing the angry bird is what made the developers to think of developing it further for other platforms. Developers design other versions of the game for other touchscreen based smartphones such as Android.

Here are some of the reviews about the earlier version of Angry Birds :
Jon Mundy, Pocketgamer said,
“Angry Birds appeal lies in the simple tactile joy of playing around with a deceptively sophisticated physics engine, without having to think too hard about it. When you analyze each move, though, there’s a lot to take into consideration.”
8 – IGN said,
“Depending on how many birds you use to wipe out all pigs in a stage, you earn up to three stars. I found myself replaying stages over and over until I figured out the linchpin of each structure, determined to drop the houses with a single throw. If you sign up for the social network Crystal, you can compare your scores with other players and log your triumphs on leaderboards.”

So, this is all about Angry Birds but still you must be thinking the question is still unanswered. Who is behind Angry Birds?
Well, Angry Birds was an effort of a senior game designer Jaakko Iisalo and Rovio Staff in early 2009. Jaako Iisalo is the one behind the Angry Birds while their enemy of these birds i.e., pigs was thinking of the team who was elected to design a game with these wingless birds.
Firstly, it is made available for iOS version and one after another it became available for almost every platform. Many free versions are also made available so that Angry Birds can be played by each and every person whether it is cell phones, desktops, laptops, tablets, etc.
The latest enhancement in the game is that you can play Angry Birds at Facebook.
The staff is doing efforts so that a player can synchronize the progress of his/her game across multiple devices. For example, a player who have completed a level on an Android device could log into their game on another device like an iOS device and can see the same statistics and the progress of level.
